Parakai

On the weekend I went with my dads family to Parakai to celebrate my cousin’s Happy 16th Birthday on Saturday. The whole day we were swimming and going down the big slide and the little slide. My cousin, which was the Birthday girl, she brang some of her friends along to Parakai to and they were creating a train when they were going down the slides. They names were Nora, Pese, Britney, Tiffany, Ashley, ex.

My Auntys were cooking the BBQ and setting up the table for my family to get ready to eat. There were all kinds of salads. There was two pasta salads two potato salads and one sereme salad.                           When we started to eat my Papa said a prayer, then the birthday girl and her sister, which is my cousin blow out her candles.

When we started to get our food from the table it was fill of food. There were sausages, patties, lamb chops, pork chops, and steak. After everybody finished eating everybody wanted to just get back in the pool, but we had to let our food settle. After my food settled I just jumped stright into the pool.

Free Blog Writing

The slade family lived down horror street number 21. There kids names were Zeri, Cameron, Lucy and Gabrielle. There were aliens living in their attic, and every night the aliens will come out of the attic and go and it the slades family food. Then the slade family will wake up in the morning and think that someone was robbing them.

Then the slade family said “ We have to do something about this”. They  set up secret cameras to see if they could catch anything. They  hid cameras in the kitchen, kids rooms and the adults room. They  were very serious about this.

They heard a strange noise coming from the attic. They were getting closer and closer and the noise was getting louder and louder. Then they saw 3 green heads and 3 green legs. “Ahhhhh mum what is that sound?” said Zeri. “I don’t know” replied mum. “It is ALIENS living in our attic”  said Gabrielle.

Mixed Numbers and improper fractions

                                       We are learning to turn mixed Numbers into improper fractions.

Blue Whale

Whales a marine mammals, so they feed milk to their babies so they can breath air. They feed them milk so they can have more energy and higin.

The big blue whale is not a fish because they are warm blooded.  

Did you know that this huge Blue whale can take up two parts of two classrooms? It is 20 metres so if it was 30 metres the blue whale will take up three classrooms.

There were lots of Blue Whales till they died a long long time ago like how the largest dinosaurs died the same time.

Improper Fractions

Me and My class are learning how to turn Improper fractions into mixed numbers.

Where is the Gold Medal???

Nick Willis said "Valerie Adams deserves that gold medal”,but no one for Belarus agrees with him. At the Beijing olympics, Nick Willis got a Bronze but it turned into a sliver because they had taken a drug test and Rashid Ramzi the gold winner didn’t pass it.

Valerie and her supporters said, ”Valerie Adams deserves that gold medal and she worked hard for it". The People from belarus still said that, "She is a winner in their eyes”.

Len Brown says that she should have a proper Ceremony and that it is maybe going to be held in Eden Park, South Auckland and even at the Cloud in the City.

Did you know that the gold medal from the shot put event is now somewhere in Belarus? and also Nadzeya took and people don’t know where she is?

P.E.P.A Junior Dance Tutoring...

Lunch time today me and some other girls in my classroom tutored some junior girls and boys from years 3 to 4. We were excited to tutor little girls and boys but it was pretty hard. We had to teach them a   dance and the song we danced to was Yeah 3x By Chris Brown.

Getting to Watch Step Up 4 Miami Heat :-)

Today after school, my family and I went to check out the new movie named Step Up 4 Miami Heat. It is about a group of dancers called "The Mob". They come out and do amazing dance shows in places like a gallery, in the middle of the street, at a restaurant and on escalators. I thought their dancing was pretty awesome.

The main characters were Shaun and Emily. Shaun is a waiter, at a Hotel that Emily's father owns. Shaun is the main leader of The Mob dance crew. Emily is a ballet and hip hop dancer, who becomes friends with him.

 Emily's father wants to buy all the land where Shaun and his family and friends live, to build another hotel. Emily tries to help Shaun by talking to her father, to stop him from destroying their neighborhood.

My favourite part of the whole movie, was the final performance where the dancers were on top of freight containers, jumping on trampolines, hanging from big rubber bands and lots of people were dancing. They used metal rods, so that when they scraped them across the ground, it made lots of sparks and that was awesome.

In the end, Emily's father decided not to destroy the neighborhood and wanted to help Shaun and his friends instead. The Mob also got offered to join a major marketing company, that worked with Emily's father, to promote their dancing in their ads.

I hope when the next Step Up movie comes out, me and my family can go watch it at the Event Cinemas and see if there are going to be anymore Mob dance crews.

About Me and My Family....

 Hi my Name is Rave Morung Motufoua, I have two sides of my family my Mum’s side and my Dad’s side. My Dad’s side is samoa and my Mum’s maori. I cannot speak samoa or maori because I have not been teached it.

In my family I have lots of cousins on my Dad’s side and those are my first other cousins but on my Mum’s side I have one first cousin and other but I have not seen them in a long time but they are still my family.

One holiday I travelled to Samoa with my Dad’s side and my cousins. We stayed at my Auntys and Uncle’s House. They had a big yard with lots of games. My cousins stayed for two weeks and Me and my Dad only stayed for one week.

On One other holiday I went Up North with my Mum’s side. We went up there because It was my Grand Uncles birthday. Up North I have some more cousins. They are my Uncles and Auntys Daughters and Son’s

Researching Our Olympic Event...

My Olympic Event is Water Polo. Water Polo is like indoor soccer but in a swimming pool and you have to use your hands. There are two nets where you have to hit the ball into the net to get a point for their team.

Well to play you have two try to defend to get the ball and pass it towards the goal so you can score a point to win.


Water Polo Started in1928 and was invented in the 1897’s at England and Scotland.

In the 1900’s was when the Olympic Games started and the Paris Games was where Olympics Games started. 


In Water Polo the equipment you need is a Ball, Bathing Caps, Land Ropes and buoys, Goals and swimsuits. The skills you need is you have to be fit because it is a tough game.
