Art Reflection Two

Your Task: To paint your photo using the colours you have chosen. Use your final draft to help you figure out what four colours you need for your backgrounds.

1. How do you feel about the work you did? Why?
About my  work I did I feel really confident about it because I really did my colours right.

2. What do you feel that you did well? Why?
I did well in mixing my colours around like my friend Lesieli and Josephine because they used a little bit of my colours that I used.

3. What do you feel you did not so well? Why?
I did not do so well with colour my background because the colours I used for my face they went outside of my face. And I did not mix around the paint with the water a lot so that is why it is so dark on one of my paintings.

4. What would you do differently next time? Why?
What will I do differently next time I will use different colours and try not use the same colours next time I do Pop Art.

WHOO!! HOO!! Netball WIN

Filled with Excitement I played my Netball game tonight . We vs Meadowbank Maulers, They were really hard to vs but we were on Fire  tonight. GS and GA were my two friends Hannah and Ata.

Hannah was doing pretty good with her shooting tonight she took her time with the ball, Every time she was far from the goal she threw it to the other players and she moved back  then took a step forward if she needed to.

The Player of the Day was my other friend Josephine, She was good at Defending the ball and she was feeding it.

My Two friends Jardine and Pauwani were playing Fantastic and Powerful tonight. Jardine was good at passing big and far to Pauwani and Pauwani was good at getting free away from her partner.   

Andy Warhol Biography...

Andy Warhol was an American artist. He was known for his creative and colourful pop art prints. Some examples of his famous art include: Marilyn 1967 and Mao 1972. Did You that Andy Warhol’s Real Name was Andrew Warhola?

He was Born in 1928 and the country he was born in was Pittsburgh Pennsylvania USA. His Parents came from Slovakia and then they moved to New York. The Disease he had was a Chorea Disease that Attacks your heart.


When he was sick he did some things in his bed. He Collected Magazines and Pictures of Celebrities he also listened to the Radio. His Mum Gave him a Chocolate bar every time he finished a Colouring Page in his Colouring Book.

Andy went to a High school named Schenley High School. The Kids at his school did not want to be his friend because he was quiet and He had Shockingly pale skin also White-Blonde Hair. Warhol liked to Collect stuff like Pictures of Supermarket products and Autographed Photos. The University he went to was Carnegie Institute of Technology and he studied a major in pictorial design.

During the 1960’s that is when Andy started creating Pop Art. Celebrities and Supermarket products in his Art Work were Marilyn Monroe,Mao the Chinese President and Muhammad Ali. Also the Supermarket products were Brillo,Campbells Tomato Soup cans and Coca Cola

Warhol created his Art Work at The Factory which was the name of his Studio where he did his Art Work. Some People went to Andy’s Studio the People that went were People from films that he made, some were writers or Artists and also Celebrities.

He Died in 1987 and the age he was when he died was 58. I think that Andy Warhol was a skillful artist and a talented man. His artwork was always magnificent and powerful.

Art Reflection One


Your Task: To complete a draft for our Pop Art. You must make sure you count all the colours you need and plan what colours you are going to invert before you colour. We need to make a draft so that we know exactly what colours we use when we start our screen printing.


How do you feel about the work you did?
How do I feel about my Art work? I did I felt nervous because I felt like I was going to get the colours mixed up.


What did you do Good?
In my Art work what I did good was mixing around the colours and inverting them.

What did you do Bad?
I did something bad I did not know what colours to use.


What would you do differently next time?
I will do something different like do dark colours on the outside and the inside light.

Partly Cloudy :)

Today Room 14 watched a short film Review named Partly Cloudy. The movie was set in the sky with clouds apart from each other. Main Characters in this movie is storks delivering things to people like cute little baby puppies and kittens also little babies.

There were some clouds is this movie that some of them were making bad things and the other ones were making good things. This movie was produced by Pixar Disney also for example Monster Inc,Toy Story and Cars Lightning Mcqueen.

The Main thing is this story is about clouds that are apart from each other and that storks are delivering things to people and the perfect clouds are making them.The main message in this story is about true friendship and that it will never end. I think the cloud Gus and the stork Peck are really going to look forward to their friendship.


I would recommend this film to my Family and Friends because I think they might want to check it out on youtube and that they will laugh . I would want people to watch this short film because they might think it is funny and that the clouds can make stuff with their hands using Lighting.
