Trip to Youthtown..

Filled with Excitement Room 14 went on our class trip to Youthtown. We Had Parent Helpers one was my friend Alazae’s Dad named Tamati and the other Parent helper was my Mum named Yvette.When we got to Youthtown we put our bags in a little base room.

We were waiting for instructions and listening to Sue and Georgia. They were telling us what to do and where to go. Room 17 went to relax in the heated pool while we played with the Clay.

When I walked into the Clay Workshop there was lots of Paintings and and colourful things in there. There was colourful glass in there to put on our Clay sculptures.

Making clay was fun, We had really nice tutors to help us making it. Our first instruction was we had to get some ideas for some maori patterns from this maori book, With lots of patterns like flowers and Butterflies.

I hope on our next trip to Youthtown will be so much fun like this one was.
